The clinical trial item was irritable bowel syndrome. Irritable bowel
syndrome is a chronic disease in which unpleasant digestive symptoms such as
abdominal pain and bloating are repeated and defecation disorders such as
diarrhea occur. Patients with irritable bowel syndrome are characterized by a
very sensitive reaction, such as stomach pain, diarrhea, bloating or having a
toilet, even if they eat a little wrong food or feel a little upset. About 10%
of the total population has this symptom, and irritable bowel syndrome is a
chronic disease that repeats exacerbation and relief. Recurrent symptoms
significantly decrease quality of life and increase medical expenses.
